Required Documents for Visa Application:
1.
Copies of Current and old passports. These are to be photocopied at
VFS Global at time of lodgement.
2.
Certified copies
of birth certificates, showing names of both parents.
3.
One recent
passport sized photograph (45mm x 35 mm).
4.
Personal Statement of Purpose of the visit. Mentioning travel details,
accommodation and activities within Australia
5.
Hotel booking
confirmation.
6.
Bank Statements of last 1 Year (Minimum 6 months) to show you can bear
all your expenses for the intended visit.
7.
Copies of
documents which show any other funds (such as FDRs, Bonds).
8.
Letter of Invitation from any family members in Australia. Proof of
relationship between you & inviter, passport copy and status of inviter.
9.
Bank solvency
Certificate stating the account opening date. (Not mandatory)
10. Income tax return submission documents
for last three years.
11. If a
friend/relative in Australia is paying for your visit then a Statutory
Declaration stating the relative or friend’s support and evidence of their
financial capacity to do so.
12. Employment details:
If you are employed:
Letter from your
employer – stating your position and salary, length of employment, confirming
your leave of absence and the name and contact details of the person providing
the letter.
If you are
self-employed and running your own business:
Trade licence
(with renewal page) and registration documents translated into English.
Memorandum of Association if Director of Limited
company.
13. TIN Certificate (Personal/ Business)

Evidence of assets like property or land: such as – land registration
documents, accountant’s letter/ Asset valuation certificate.
15. Evidence of marital status.
16. National ID Card.
17. Police Clearance Certificate.
